We Offer 4 & 12 Ounce Sourdough Rounds
Our sourdough is made traditionally—a slow fermentation process that allows the Mother (starter) to feed on flour and water, producing beneficial bacteria and acids, along with other compounds that enable the bread to rise and give it its distinct characteristics.
Our Mother (Sourdough Starter) is over 40 years old! Sourdough bread is considered one of the healthiest breads out there. The Heart Association recognizes it as a heart-healthy bread. As well as, people with Gluten sensitivities can digest sourdough. The Rounds are great as a soup bowl or filled with your favorite chowder, chili or other recipes. They are also enjoyed eaten by themselves. All natural and NO preservatives, Our Sourdough Rounds use whole, responsibly sourced, and milled grains.
Ingredient list for the sourdough: High Gluten Non Bleached (wheat flour), Starter, Water, Sea Salt
Instructions: Rounds arrive ready to unwrap and enjoy! Consume within the week. If left out for later use, then keep Rounds well wrapped and frozen for up to a month. Rounds should not be refrigerated. To serve from frozen, allow Rounds to thaw at room temperature. Enjoy eating them as is, toasted, or refreshed in a 250ᵒ F oven.
